FLOODZONE shirts are different from the other shirts you own. These are not the mass-produced department store shirts you see on every Tom, Dick, and Harriet. Each shirt is one of only 50 like it, all of which pass through the hands of its artist to be signed and numbered. These shirts are truly unique.
We chose to print our shirts in limited runs of 50 because we’re going for quality, not quantity. We want you to hang onto our shirts for years, to love them and wear them until they are threadbare.
The shirts are printed by our buddies at Real Thread, an independent screen-printing company in Florida. Launching an apparel division has been harder than we thought, but Real Thread’s expertise, innovation, and resources made it easy to develop our products and build our inventory. Real Thread is shaking up the printing industry by making water-based ink their standard. While plastisol is the typical industry standard, water-based ink is a more eco-friendly way to screen print and results in super-soft tees.
Our shirts are breathable and comfortable because they’re printed with discharge ink, which soaks directly into the poly/cotton blend fabric and removes the original color in the shirt and replaces it with the color of the artwork. This means your shirt will never crack or peel, because the design is part of the fabric, and the two will fade together over years of wear.
With stellar design and sharp attention to production details, we are making our own new favorite shirts. We are making the shirts we want to buy, but have never seen for sale. We are going to have our design and wear it, too.
